Hi,
We need another mod programmer and another person proficient in C++,JAVA or BASIC to help on our project. It is due to begin next week and we'll nedd a sample of your work to help decide. The project will be Freeware and so no money will be provided. However we aer looking to do a shareware program in the future (not necesserily a mod).

Programers for the mod MUST(!!) have experience in Red Alert 1, Red Alert 2 and Tiberian Sun. No YR experience neccesary but it may help.

so you're asking for people to crack the exe or people to make a whole new game engine (which i doubt)?

You don't need C++ skills to crack the EXE, you need ASM skills... and for building a new engine, it's possible, if you have a lot of time ... Maybe they're just planning to do something like my utilities ?

Its for making a install file and for other reasons. have you never heard or .BAT files or .BAS files?

.bat files are n00bish... making install files with Delphi is quite easier and much better... or you use that clickteam tool, but I dont recommend it...

Delphi works on both Windows and Linux, yet it costs $$$ Rolling Eyes

... cheapest, Personal Version 7, currently costs 100 $, I believe... On Linux you get Kylix, which is free, and is just Delphi recompiled to work on Linux Smile

Like Banshee says, clickteam software made an installer creation program. It's shareware, but it only bugs the end user with more annying screenies, yet all functions work as they should. Get it at http://www.clickteam.com/English/installmaker.php, I think.

You can get old versions of Delphi in magazines for less than $10. Quite cheap and the old versions are very nice...

winRAR can make an install program, im using it for OWD, and its free, its like another version of winzip too.
