Smile well in my campaigns the GDI soldiers with normal tanks, APC, and hum-vee are "Regular Troops", they are the main line of an attack, but if they can't complete their job, GDI Technologic Section deploy those advanced units (goliath, Kazuars ect...)

i don't think they are "Old" XD, I've changed their names using the rules.ini but if i change the name of the old Twisted dawn structures, in game or in final TI have the same name as before (i want to delete the word "Old")

Renaming structures works excactly similar to remaning units, if it doesn't change ingame then you're doing something wrong.
If you do it by rules.ini, then just edit the name tag and save.
If you edit in the map file, just add
Code:
[RANDOMBUILDING] ;the building you want to edit
Name=yournewname ;the name you want it to have

to the map in notepad and it works.

But I'd recommend making the edits in the map as you want to keep it compatible with newer versions of TI.

i have changed that tag (Name=Old Power Plant
----> Name=Power Plant) but nothing .... i'll try directly on the map with notepad

As the mod leader, I feel it's best that I tell you the new Beta release date is undecided and could take a while, so I'd suggest releasing your fan-made maps prior to the new release.
