Fix for Internet Explorer users.
Subject description: They'll no longer browse the mobile site by default.
I've been spending these days of carnival fixing several issues in this site that has been annoying me for some time. One of them is that Internet Explorer users were confused as mobile phone visitors and redirected to the ugly mobile version of PPM because their user agent had something in the end like "Creative AutoUpdate v1.40.01)". Nobody cares about this "Creative AutoUpdate", except that the word 'Update' has a 'pda' in the middle of it that confused our software.
In another unrelated note, we've also added some tips for those troubled users who have problems with our captcha system, after you fail to register 3 times. I've decided to not change the system itself to keep scaring the bots from this place. Anyway, I hope the tips in the end makes things more friendly for those who are interested to register here. Yea, I know that internet explorer sucks and I don't use it to browse the web either (my main browser is firefox, followed closely by Opera). But... there are people and companies that still insists with this crap and visit PPM. QUICK_EDIT
Mozilla!

Not for nothing Internet Explorer has the same initials as Internal Error. _________________ SHP Artist of Twisted Insurrection. Main Nod building SHP creator.
Unfortunately, not everyone is that smart, when visiting any ppmsite.com section. According to webalizer, from the top 15 user agents visiting this site in this month, Firefox has over 99k hits, Chrome has 60k+ and Internet Explorer comes with 47k+. However, some of these visitors could be disguised bots.
According to the same webalizer, Google bot had 85k hits (less than Firefox), Baidu comes next with 76k, followed by Bing with 32k, Discovery Engine with 24k and yandex with 20k. QUICK_EDIT
hey now, I'm a IE9 user and it works just fine. Maynot have the incentives as the other browsers, but I happen to like it. Probably most likely cause I've been using IE for over 14 yrs. I'm used to its layout and functionality. But I do use FireFox for certain things _________________

Just going to say that Internet Explorer 9 is a very solid browser. Problem IE9 has is the lack of add-ons.
But alas it suffers from the reputation of its predecessors. M4A3E8/76(W) was a solid tank but was marred by the suckiness of the originals. Nothing new. _________________ Kinda not modding anymore.

Firefox lost my preference since 3.6, when it started to hang in memory during closure. I went to Opera and nowadays I can't imagine my life wthout Quick Dial.
'Nuff said. _________________

I'm using Chrome at the moment but I think I honestly prefer Firefox and will probably switch back sometime. Chrome just feels... slow when dealing bookmarks and I liked Firefox's separators. _________________ QUICK_EDIT

Via separators you mean folders?... Or what? QUICK_EDIT
Separators are horizontal lines/gaps separating menu items, that is when talking about drop-down menus.
Yes, horizontal lines that separate items. They're useful for sorting small amounts of bookmarks into categories without splitting them up into individual folders.
I usually like to keep a lot of bookmarks on the links bar so folders are a must but even then I'd get a network of folders so separators help with categorizing things without getting to complex. I already have too many folders, I don't need to get into three to four levels of folders.
I got a picture of my PPM folder in Firefox, which is already under a C&C folder as is.
even if they kicked IE in arse and updated it with v9 to be semi-usable,
its still worst thing to use, reason is its getting updated every
2 years (lately)
which is terrible if you ask me...
no software, especially the one that holds biggest piece of usage share
should be neglected so long...
I'd rather see a major version increase slowly than Mozilla's rapid release horseshit. Google did the same thing with Chrome and it was bullshit then too. _________________ Ponies are awesome. QUICK_EDIT
