Disc Launcher



Unit Stats
Strength: Low
Weapon: Grenade Discus
Advanced Weapon: Homing Grenade Discus
Speed: Slow -> Medium
Requires: GDI Barracks


Description:
The Disc Launcher serves as the grenadier / anti armour infantry of GDI. Rather than a grenade, the Disc Launcher is armed with aerodynamic explosive discs with some limited tracking capability of its targets. Useful for pinning down infantry and punching a few holes in enemy armour.

how about, totally unlike this?

like first of all, screw scale. its impossible. try it, you fail. so dont. original TS size was perfectly fine. still not too big, yet allowed them to as least look better than if they were puked out by a sick kid who just ate shit. with red dots.
second, use more than 2 colors on the palette. thats like making teh terrain a single solid color. that only works for space which is black.
third, give the f*cker a gun goddammit.

I agree with those two points. Once more detail is applied, it would look great, maybe perfect. Bonus points for giving him a gun! Its okay as it is for now. You nailed the size, so thats not an issue.

"We got no way to really improve the Infantry as we lack the guys to do that Job. If you know someone or are capable of editing Infantry yourself - please tell us if youre interested in helping TO and well gladly advice you to fecking improve those Boys until youll fell the urge to hump your monitor as soon as one enters the screen!"

Noted so far:
o Use more colors
o Return to standart-size
o Give them a proper gun

Nice concept for buildups, somewhat similar to what I had planed for RoO, though I didn't include a cracking ground, a hatch would appear, then open, and the buildings would appear from underground.
Fits Nod underground theme nicely, so good job. Though you must remember that buildup animations have a frame limit.

About the GDI RPG trooper, give it a bigger backpack. It's a nice concept but it looks like a Desolator IMO.

It just didnt work out as a really expected.

About the buildup: Should be doableif youd render the tube to start raising up when some of those rocks in the void are still about falling down.

I'm not trying to be offensive but the recolor 67% scaling thing is kinda a bit lazy.
EDIT:Like the design audiopulse but the helmet looks kinda nod like and chem warrior from renegade like.
