Any skirmish strategies for Nod
I do fine with GDI, but I find Nod hard to use. Does anyone have any strategies and/or tips for Nod? _________________ You can call me Dark or Glace/Glaceon if my name is annoying to type.
Build a few refineries, then WF + Radar, get a Hammerhead or two to hold out against the AI's massive infantry attacks, then build more refineries (and repeat this step a dozen times), then build two WFs more.
Then build 30 Eclipse tanks, attack the AI with those, build 30 Eclipse tanks more, attack the AI with those, build 30 Eclipse tanks more, attack the AI with those... repeat until you've won the game.
While spamming Eclipses you can also tech up so you can replace your CY if you happen to lose it, and you can also build defences so you won't be losing your base to a surprise attack (especially make sure that you have enough SAM sites since the AI's air attacks can deal some nice damage very quickly). When you feel that your base's defences are strong enough, you can build more WFs and Refineries so that you can spam Eclipses faster. Oh, and don't forget to expand your base building area with PPs (seriously, that Nod building area restriction sucks )

If executed well, you'll win almost all games against the AI with this tactic. If you lose, practice it more so you have more actions per second and eventually you'll win the AI.
That's pretty much what I do, only I use Cyborgs instead of Eclipse tanks. QUICK_EDIT
NONO all wrong..build 1 refinery after barracks...then warfactory then more harvesters...me...i just build a wall with a gate and plop defenses...walls keep you alive...as in the cyborgs...yes there good but you do need other guys...does the phrase EMP craft mean anything to you XD...build eclipses...there very good heavy tanks...build 4 to 5 artillery..they can hit them alot before they reach your wall...at the start build 9 infantry and 7 bazooka to hold off first wave but yeah i build a fortress with walls and obelisks behind them and small defenses in front of wall QUICK_EDIT

Its the AI. Its ridiculously spammy, so you have to spam it back.
In a FFA with 8 players, your lucky if not a single AI attacks you at the beginning with massive amounts infantry and light tanks.
You could try rushing the nearest AI base with your starting forces and an engy. Capture their bar and squish their soldiers after your 4 tanks destroy their starting tanks, use your soldiers to lure their tanks out.
Once the bar is captured, train a few rifles then another engy and capture the CY ASAP.
If your lucky, you wont be jumped right after your capture their base by another AI, and you could have two bases. Usually though, right after you capture that base, it gets jumped, or your in the processes of capturing it and it gets jumped.
And if your home base is getting attacked, you should proly just sell the captured CY and bar, then retreat and build up to radar tech with tonnes, tonnes, TONNES, of refineries.
Get hammerheads to stop infantry spams, mobile SAMs, and eclipses.
You'll need a few task forces to guard your base, and eventually get more teams to attack enemy harvesters. Blow up their many harvesters over and over again. They'll send out teams to try to get you back, which will help out other AIs attacking their base to puts some dents into it, softening it up for your eventual push.
Lines of tanks, cyborgs, mobile SAMs guarding mole artilleries and hammerheads camping their base. Thats how ya do it.
Build another group of the above mentioned units. Get some sub apcs with engies ready.
Siege their base. Other AIs will attack it as well.
Eventually you swarm their sprawling base, and tunnel in the engies and bada boom bada bing!
Unless your lucky and no one attacks you, you basically need 10 refineries at least so you can afford to mass a tonne of defenses and guard units to stop over 3 AIs attacking you at once on hardest difficulty.
I wish there was no build limit for the Cyborg Commando!
